Winston-Salem, NC - Carolina University Women's Soccer hosted Edward Waters University on Friday, October 21st at 3:00 pm. CU worked hard on defense at the start of the match and were able to take the lead 1-0 in the 23rd minute. The Bruins displayed beautiful passing and found the back of the net again in the 27th minute for a score of 2-0. Carolina U scored once more in the first half at 37:44. When it seemed the match was coming to a close, the Bruins scored a goal in the 88th minute to finish with a score of 4-0 against Edward Waters. 

Alessandra Lopez (6) scored two goals at 22:41 and 37:44, assisted by Aaliyah Rubio and Sidney Smith. Rubio and Smith each scored goals of their own. Sidney Smith (5) scored a goal at 26:28 with an assist from Hayden Pacheco. Aaliyah Rubio (11) scored at 87:45 assisted by Angie Hernandez Victorino. Sarah Walters played 90 minutes as goalie and recorded 9 saves.

Carolina University will play their last away match at Bluefield State University on Wednesday, October 26th at 3:00 pm. CU is 11-4-1 going into the match against Bluefield, who is 4-6-3 on the season. LiveStream will be available.
