Virginia Beach, VA - After a solid win the day prior, the Bruins faced Regent University on Sunday, October 16th at 2:00. Carolina University took possession of the ball quickly and were able to score in the 8th minute of the match. They quickly turned around and scored again at 9:43. CU continued to dominate offensively and took the lead to 3-0 in the 33rd minute. After the break, the Bruins scored again back-to-back at 53:37 and 55:05. The Royals attempted 8 shots, 4 on goal, but were unable to convert. CU closed the match out with a goal in the 78th minute for a final score of 6-0. 

The Bruins had several key contributions to their successful match. Sidney Smith (4) scored the first goal of the match at 7:38 and again at 55:05, assisted by Angie Hernandez Victorino and Natasha Mariam. Aaliyah Rubio (9) scored at 9:43 and 71:00, both assisted by Hayden Pacheco. Yaqueline Lopez Hernandez (2) scored at 32:24 assisted by Alondra Ramon. Angie Hernandez Victorino (4) scored at 53:37, assisted by Hayden Pacheco.

Carolina University is now 10-3-1 on the season and will be on the road to play against Shaw University on Wednesday, October 19th at 7:00 pm. Shaw University is 2-7-1 on their season and also had two matches this past weekend.
