WINSTON-SALEM, NC -- Carolina University Men's Volleyball hosted Reinhardt University on Tuesday, March 2nd. The Bruins lost to the Eagles on the road in January and had hopes to even the season series at home. Carolina University came out with great energy and had the early lead. However, the Eagles were resilient and went on a critical 7-0 run in the middle of the first set to claim the 1-0 lead in the match. The Bruins bounced back and took the early 5-2 lead, but couldn't quite close it out. Reinhardt would go on to win the second set as well. The Eagles took that momentum into the third set and opened with a lead. This time the Bruins put together a late run, but it wasn't quite enough to steal the set. Reinhardt University would go on to win the match by a final count of 3-0.

The Bruins were led by a game-high 17 assists from Tijhmir Glasco. Glasco also contributed 3 aces and 2 kills on the night. Steven Wilson led the Bruins with 8 kills and a block. Brady Bartlett did a little of everything for CU as he posted 6 kills, 3 digs and 1 assist.

Carolina University will next host Liberty University on Friday, March 5th. The Bruins will play a return game at Liberty University on Wednesday, March 10th.
