WINSTON-SALEM, NC - The Piedmont International University men's basketball team fell to Voorhees College in the final seconds on Monday (Jan. 27) by a score of 79-77.
Even though the Bruins took the lead early on in the game, Voorhees was able to gain control and lead for the entirety after five minutes.
PIU gave a valiant effort and tied up the game at 77. Unfortunately, a foul on the Bruins sent the Tigers to the line, where they captured the game.Â
Tamir Glenn led PIU with 26 points and seven rebounds, followed by Jacob Cook with 10 points.
The Bruins host Regent University on Saturday (Feb. 1) at 4 PM.
