WINSTON-SALEM, NC - The PIU women's basketball team fell to Virginia University of Lynchburg on Wednesday (Feb. 12) in their last home game of the 2019-2020 season.

Senior guard LeOnzerrae Grubbs recorded a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Ashley Lane added 11 points, while Alysia McLeod and Malayah Montgomery had seven points.

PIU went 16 for 64 in the field compared to the Dragons 19 for 52.

Piedmont will finish off their regular season on Saturday when they travel to Warren Wilson College. Tip-off is set for 2 PM.
