WINSTON-SALEM, NC - On Saturday afternoon (Jan. 18), junior forward Lexius Houzer led the Piedmont Lady Bruins to a 75-63 victory against NCAA DII Greensboro College. Houzer had a career high performance against the Pride posting 31 points and 13 rebounds.

Piedmont scored a total of 43 points before the half. Houzer stayed quiet the first quarter but activated in the second for the Bruins as she made six of her nine field-goal attempts for 16 points. The Bruins shot 16-for-32 from the field in the half and outrebounded the Pride with 21 rebounds.

In the second half, Houzer led PIU in scoring in the half with 15 points as she finished with 31 overall. Ashley Lane scored 11 points to join Houzer in double-figures. LeOnzerrae Grubbs and Zyniah Kesler added nine points of their own. 

The Bruins will be back at home on Monday as they host Warren Wilson College at 2 PM.
