WINSTON-SALEM, NC -- Carolina University Women's Volleyball hosted Alice Lloyd on Friday, October 30th to close out the 2020 regular season. The Bruins were in control all night as they swept the Eagles 25-15, 25-13, and 25-15. Chiara Mottola was at the heart of the CU attack as she earned 15 kills and 4 aces. Alessandra Sendler and Sarah Pickett had 10 and 9 kills respectively. Each of these 3 Bruins hit over 0.460 for the match and were instrumental in the victory. The Bruins are now on a 3 match win streak and finished the regular season 4-3. 

Carolina University will now have an opportunity to accomplish their pre-season goal of a NCCAA DI South Region Championship and a birth in the NCCAA National Tournament. The Bruins will travel to Erskine College on Saturday, November 7th. The Erskine Fleet are 2-0 on the year after commanding victories over Bob Jones University. The Bruins have the fire power to hang with The Fleet and more match experience on the season. Carolina University is looking forward to the challenge and an opportunity to bring home the title!
