Andy Hepler Announced as Cross Country/ Track and Field Coach and Director of Strength and Conditioning

Winston-Salem, NC – Steve Condon, Piedmont International University's Director of Athletics, announces Andy Hepler as PIU's new Cross Country/ Track and Field Coach as well as the Director of Strength and Conditioning. 

Hepler comes to Piedmont with great expertise and experience in both areas of strength and conditioning and track and field.

Since 2009, Hepler has been the owner of Dominate Athletic Performance (previously named Hepler Strength and Conditioning) located in Thomasville, NC. His gym offers strength, speed, agility, and conditioning classes to middle school, high school, and college athletes.

On top of owning his gym, Hepler is the Track and Field Coach at East Davidson High School. In his eight years of coaching there, Hepler has coached his team to Regionals and State Championships six times.

"Andy brings a wealth of experience and passion to our strength and conditioning and track programs," said Condon. "He has developed athletes at all stages of maturation. His local and regional network and connection to our current student-athletes gives him instant credibility. We are blessed to have him with us."

Hepler is USA Track and Field Level 1 Certified on top of being a National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association (NESTA) Certified Weight Training Specialist.
