Lady Bruins Fall in First Match at National Tournament

KISSIMMEE, FL - The PIU Lady Bruins fell to the Campbellsville Tigers 7-0 on Monday (Dec. 2) in pool play of the NCCAA National Tournament.

Junior midfielder Ariana Gonzalez led PIU with one shot on goal while sophomore goalkeeper Ericka Washburn recorded nine saves. Four players had a shot each for the Bruins: Trinity Gray, Adellah McManus, Cierra Josey, and Ashli Mincey.

The Bruins will be back tomorrow as they take on Robert Wesleyan College at 3:30 PM.
