Piedmont Win Season Opener at Salem

WINSTON-SALEM, NC. - The Piedmont International University women's basketball team dominated Salem College in their season opener on Wednesday (Nov. 13) by a score of 68-39. 

LeOnzerrea Grubbs recorded her first double-double of the season with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Alysia McLeod notched 13 points and six rebounds while Brianna Best had 10 points and eight rebounds.

Piedmont is back in action on Friday (Nov. 15) for a cross-town match at Winston-Salem State University. Tip-off for that contest is slated for 4 PM.
