Winston-Salem, NC -- After finding themselves in a 0-3 deficit in the first half, the Bruins struggled to regain momentum against Greensboro College (8-0) on Monday evening. Piedmont faced a tough 8-0 loss.

The Greensboro Pride came out strong Monday evening, scoring 3 goals in first 20 minutes of play. Quickly into the second half, the Pride added four more goals, leading the Bruins 7-0.

In the 70th minute, the Bruins made a major line up change, putting Candace Bell, Taylor Hinson, Callie Chilton and Kelsie Simpson on the defensive line. This lineup allowed only one goal in the final 5 minutes.

Katelyn Goodman, Cierra Josey, and Ashli Mincey were the lone Bruins to record a shot on goal. Kaitlyn Hunt recorded seven saves in goal.

Piedmont International will be back in action on Friday when they travel to Virginia Beach, VA and take on Regent University. Match time is set for 5 PM.
