Jarett Miller

Jarett Miller is entering his second season as the Head Baseball Coach at Carolina University. In his inaugural year with the Bruins, Miller initially served as the pitching coach before transitioning to Interim Head Coach, leading the team to significant achievements. In the 2023 season, he guided six players to NCCAA South All-Region Team honors, including Second Team All-American Deion Tubbs. Under his leadership, the Bruins made their third consecutive appearance at the NCCAA South Regional Tournament.

Before joining Carolina University, Miller spent over a decade as a baseball instructor at various private facilities, honing his coaching skills and working with aspiring athletes. He also gained valuable experience as a volunteer assistant coach for the Guilford College softball program during the 2016-2017 season.

Miller's background as a successful pitcher at both the collegiate and professional levels enriches his coaching expertise. He was drafted in the 21st round of the 2011 MLB Draft by the Atlanta Braves and later played for the Baltimore Orioles and the Southern Illinois Miners in Independent Ball.

Originally from Easley, SC, Miller earned his degree in Communication Sciences with a focus on Interdisciplinary Leadership Studies from UNC Greensboro. He and his wife, Kellie, are proud parents of two sons, Judah and Miles.
