Hunter Rhineberger is entering his second season as the Assistant Baseball Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Carolina University. In this role, he serves as the Assistant Pitching Coach, bringing valuable insights from his previous experience as a Graduate Assistant at CU. During his first season, Rhineberger helped guide the Bruin pitchers, leading to the recognition of two NCCAA South All-Region pitchers and contributing to the team's successful NCCAA South Regional Tournament appearance.
Before transitioning to coaching, Rhineberger was a standout player for the Bruins, contributing to some of the best seasons in the program's history. In 2022, he was part of the first NCCAA South Regional Championship team and played a crucial role in the Bruins' inaugural appearance at the NCCAA World Series in 2021. Known for his leadership on and off the field, Rhineberger was a consistent presence on the mound and earned the respect of teammates and coaches alike.
Originally from Spring Hill, FL, Rhineberger began his academic journey at Highland Community College, where he was named to the Arrowhead Conference All-Academic Team. He then continued his education at Carolina University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and a Master's in Business Administration.
In addition to his coaching role at Carolina University, Rhineberger has also served as an Assistant Coach for the Canes 17u Travel Team, further enhancing his coaching skills and experience.
