Columbia, KY - Carolina University Men's Basketball (0-2) traveled to Lindsey Wilson College for the Brady Button Memorial Classic.
The Bruins took on the hosting Blue Raiders in their first game of the classic, and fell 110-88. The team was led in scoring by guards Cameron Parker (who added six rebounds, two steals, and two assists) and freshman Caden Fitzgibbons (who added two rebounds, three assists, two steals, and a block), with 18 points each.Â
CarolinaU took on Campbellsville University in game two, coming up short in the 100-74 loss. Kaden Clarke led the Bruins in scoring with 13 points while Ethan Bell led the way with eight rebounds.Â
"Obviously the results aren't what we wanted but we are on the right path," said Head Coach Jacob Heck. "I'm very proud of how this team competed and handled adversity. It's a really strong locker room and I'm confident that will lead to positive results long term."
The Bruins make their 2023-24 home debut in Williams Gymnasium on Wednesday, November 1 at 7:00pm when they take on Voorhees University. Live stats and live stream will be available.
